William “Bill” Charles Caldwell, 64, of rural Cherryvale, Kansas entered eternity on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at the Cherryvale Care Center with family members at his side.
William Charles Caldwell was born November 22, 1957, in Neodesha, Kansas the son of Charles TD Caldwell and Lois Marie (Baker) Caldwell. He attended schools in Morehead and Cherryvale, graduating from Cherryvale High School in 1975. He received his Associates Degree from Coffeyville Community College, where he majored in Foosball.
Bill’s favorite hobbies included taking care of his cattle, spending time on the farm, loved to fish and farm.
Bill worked for the Katy and Union Pacific railroads for nearly 40 years. He was married briefly and lived on the family farm until his death.
He was preceded in death by his parents, half-sister, Caroline McIntosh, and half-brother, Allen Heller.
He is survived by his sisters, Bonnie Endicott (Larry) of Liberty, Missouri, Becky Van Royen of Cherryvale, Kansas, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Morehead Cemetery in Morehead, Kansas.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 P.M., Friday, July 29, 2022, at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 2016 East 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas 67335.
Memorial remembrances are suggested to Hazeldell Southern Baptist Church or Morehead Cemetery, and they may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
