Thomas Eugene Matlock

Thomas Eugene Matlock 68, of Chanute, KS, passed away November 30, 2021. He was born March 15, 1953 to Daniel and Edith (Ball) Matlock in Chanute.

Tom had a passion for drinking beer and flirting with the ladies. He is survived by his brothers; Dan Marion (Cheryl) Matlock, Cecil (Tish) Matlock, Clarence (Sherry) Matlock, Robert (Audrey) Matlock, Herbert Vance and one sister; Anna (Larry) James, all of Chanute, KS, and 18 nieces and nephews that loved their uncle Tom. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Bennie Vance.

Tom’s favorite saying was “One time for the north”

Cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to Castaways Animal Shelter
and can be left with or mailed to the funeral home. Services are under the guidance of Wickham Family Funeral Home 500 North Forest Ave. Chanute, KS 66720.
