Roberta Lynn Bartholomew

Roberta Lynn Bartholomew, 70, of Chanute, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at her home. She was born on October 5, 1954, in Montebello, California, to Clarence Leonard Sr and Leora Nadine (Clampett) Batholomew. 

A dedicated professional, Roberta worked at a call center and was also a talented machinist, showcasing her exceptional skills and commitment to her work. A proud graduate of Whittier Christian High School, Roberta's education laid the foundation for her diverse career. 

Known for her caring nature, she had a deep affection for animals, especially cats and dogs, which reflected her loving and compassionate spirit. 

Roberta is survived by her two nieces, Dawn Wrestler and Kristin Bartholomew, and several cousins who will remember her fondly and cherish the moments they shared. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Clarence Leonard Bartholomew Jr., and her life partner, Melba Foley, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Roberta's warmth, creativity, and dedication to her passions will be missed. 

Memorials are suggested to Castaways Animal Sanctuary and can be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
