Robert “Bobby” Eugene Moore, 75, of Chanute, Kansas, passed away on September 1, 2026, at Heritage Health Care in Chanute, Kansas. He was born to Robert Lee and Erma Grace (Edwards) Moore on December 9, 1951, in Benedict, Kansas.

Bobby attended schools in Arkansas. He worked for Rolco Boat Trailers as a painter.

He was known for the simple pleasures that brought him joy throughout his life. He enjoyed fishing and playing bingo, and he was especially fond of bowling, a pastime that earned him the nickname “The Bowling King.”

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, and his three sisters.

Bobby is survived by his sisters, Sharon Kay Weaver and Barbara June Lewis, and thirteen nieces and nephews, twenty-three great-nieces and nephews, and four great-great-nieces and nephews.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and peace to the family who loved him.

Cremation has been requested.

Services are under the personal care of Wickham Family Funeral Home, 500 North Forest Avenue, Chanute, Kansas 66720.
