Peggy Ann Powers

Peggy Ann (Price) Powers, passed away on  Tuesday September 1, 2026. She was born on July 25, 1958, in Fredonia, Kansas.

Peggy was a homemaker, and she devoted herself to the care of her home and family. She attended Fredonia High School in Fredonia, Kansas. Among the great joys of her life was caring for her grandchildren, a role she loved deeply and embraced with tenderness.

She is survived by her husband, Nick Powers. She also leaves behind her daughters, Amber Powers and Amelia Powers; Amelia’s partner, Bennie Green; and her cherished grandchildren, Matilda and Vincent Green. Peggy is also survived by her siblings, Dianna Harmon and Randy Price. Her family was at the center of her life, and she will be remembered with love by those who knew her best.

Peggy was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Price; her mother, Laretta (Reynolds) Price; her sister, Marsha Tindle; and her brother, Rodney Price.

She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, for the care she gave so generously, and for the love she shared with her children and grandchildren. Her memory will remain a lasting blessing to those who survive her.

At the family's request, a private burial will be held. Arrangements are under the care of Wickham Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 510 N. 7th St. in Fredonia, Kansas.
