Patricia J. Guenther

Patricia J. Guenther, 74, a resident of rural Benedict, Kansas, died Monday, June 26, 2006 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. She was born November 18, 1931 in Stafford, Kansas, the daughter of James Elmer and Kathleen Isabelle (Colgrove) Glamser. She was a 1949 graduate of Benedict High School and became a registered nurse in Pittsburg at Mt. Carmel. She was employed for 11 years as a surgical nurse at Neosho Memorial Medical Center in Chanute. She was a homemaker and farmer"s wife. On April 7, 1956 in Altoona, Kansas, she married Richard Lee Guenther. He preceded her in death October 11, 2004. Her Survivors include: One Son, Bradley Guenther of Overland Park, KS One Daughter, Linda Rexroad of New Amaden, CA Three Grandchildren: Amanda Guenther, Evan Guenther & Warren Rexroad She was preceded in death by her parents. A rosary will be said at 9:30 A.M. on Friday, June 30, 2006 with the funeral mass beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the Sacred Heart Church with Father Stephen Baxter officiating. Burial will be in the Buffalo Cemetery. A memorial has been established in her name with the St. Patrick"s Catholic School Fund and may be sent to the funeral home.
