Michael “Mike” Lee Redburn, born on December 25, 1951, in Parsons, Kansas, to Ray and Neva Redburn, passed away on July 23, 2025, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. He was 73 years old. Mike led a life characterized by dedication, warmth, and a genuine love for his family and interests.

A proud graduate of Altamont High School, Mike embarked on his career as a Machine Operator at Ruskin MFG, where he committed 30 years of service. His work ethic and reliability earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike.

Mike cherished his roles as an uncle and great-uncle. He found immense joy in spending time with his nephews and nieces, fostering close and meaningful relationships with them. His nurturing nature and infectious enthusiasm made a lasting impact on their lives.

Mike was an avid sports enthusiast, particularly passionate about Neosho County Community College Baseball. Additionally, Mike had a spirited interest in traveling, often exploring destinations throughout the United States and Europe, creating cherished memories along the way.

He is survived by his loving mother, Neva; his siblings, Monty (Vicki) Redburn of Huntsville, Alabama, Mitzi (John) Arthur of Chanute, Kansas, and Tim (Amber) Redburn of West Plains, Missouri. He also leaves behind his nephews, Jeremy (Courtney) Arthur and Corby Redburn, and niece Jenni Younger, along with his great-nephew Greyson Younger, and great-nieces Pippa Arthur and Colette Arthur, who will fondly remember the joy he brought into their lives.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Ray, in 2018. The legacy of love and kindness he leaves behind will continue to resonate within the hearts of those who were privileged to know him. His memory will be cherished and honored by family and friends alike.

Memorials in honor of Mike are suggested to the Neosho County Community College Baseball program and can be mailed to or left with Wickham Family Funeral Home, 500 North Forest Ave. Chanute, KS 66720.

 A Graveside service will be held Monday, July 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Neosho County Memorial Park Cemetery on 21st St., Chanute, Kansas
