Laretta Evon Price

Laretta Evon Price, 77, a longtime resident of Fredonia, Kansas, died Sunday, March 29, 2015 at her home. She was born July 31, 1937 in Wilson County, Kansas, the daughter of Walter and Ruby (Chisham) Reynolds. Laretta was a 1955 graduate of Fredonia High School. She was a homemaker. In 1955, Laretta was united in marriage to Ronald Price. To this union, five children were born. They were later divorced. Laretta"s survivors include her children: Marsha Tindle of Fredonia, KS Peggy Powers of Fredonia, KS Randy Price of Fredonia, KS Dianna Harmon of Joplin, MO 9 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by an infant son, Rodney Price, three brothers, one sister, and her longtime companion, Walter Case. Private family graveside services will be held at Weakley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Laretta"s name with the Fredonia Flag Fund.
