Karen Kingsbury Hull, 86, died Saturday, November 8, 2025, while on Hospice in her home in Chanute Kansas. She was born on June 25, 1939, in Fredonia Kansas, the daughter of Oliver and Yola Kingsbury.
Karen was a graduate of the class of 1957 at Fredonia High School, in Fredonia, Kansas.
Karen Kingsbury married the love of her life, Dwayne Hull on May 3, 1959, at the First Christian Church in Fredonia, Kansas. He preceded her in death on February 20, 2006.
Karen spent her life caring for her 4 children, Sherry, Steven, David and Kimberly, and returned to college at 41 years of age to study American History and served as a substitute teacher for 2 years while living in Casper, Wyoming.
During retirement, she and her late husband Dwayne, returned to their childhood hometown where they owned and operated Penny Run Christmas Tree Farm near Roper Kansas from 1985 to 2006.
Karen is survived by her four children, Sherry Segraves and Steven Hull of Chanute, KS, David and his wife Donna Hull of Fredonia, KS, and Kimberly Hull Barnes of Star, Idaho. She was grandmother to 13, Great Grandmother to 23 and had 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the First Christian Church of Fredonia. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery near Roper.

A memorial has been established in her name with the First Christian Church of Fredonia and can mailed or left at the funeral home.
