Howard Max Cain

Howard Max Cain, 97, died Monday, September 25, 2023, in Colwich, Kansas.
Max enlisted in the US Navy the day after his high school graduation in 1944 and served in the Pacific. He retired from Radiant Electric Cooperative in 1991, after 40 years of employment.
He is survived by his children, Luann (Randy) McFadden and Randy (Karen) Cain. His grandchildren include Rachel McFadden, Alice (Nathan) Dingman, Patrick McFadden, Matt Snyder and Melissa Snyder.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Annabel (Adams) Cain, his parents, Fred and Alice Cain and his siblings, Paul Gene and Donald.
Graveside services will be held 10:30 A.M., Monday, October 2, 2023, at Fredonia City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established with the Fredonia United Methodist Church, and they may be left or mailed to Wickham Family Funeral Home, 510 North 7th, Fredonia, Kansas 66736.
