Grace Beulah Simmons

Grace Beulah Simmons, 97, a resident of Fredonia, Kansas, died Thursday, January 31, 2008 at her home. She was born December 11, 1910, the daughter of Henry and Ida Lovely. She was a homemaker. On June 11, 1928 in Eureka, Kansas, she married Raymond Simmons. He preceded her in death February 18, 1991. She was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church. Grace is survived by one son, Dale Simmons of Fredonia, Kansas, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Huey; three sisters, Bertha, Flora and Mary; two sons, James and Donald; two daughters, Joyce Simmons and Doris Evenson. Funeral services will be held at 1:00P.M. on Monday, February 4, 2008 at the Southern Baptist Church in Fredonia with Pastor Casey Borger officiating. Burial will be in the Fredonia City Cemetery. A memorial has been established in her name with Fredonia Hometown Health Care and Hometown Hospice and may be sent to the funeral home.
