Geneva M. Stout

We are sad to announce the passing of Geneva Stout of Chanute, Kansas. Geneva passed away on October 10, 2023, she was 93 years old. Geneva is survived by her loving husband, Dale Stout, her two daughters, Mary Stout and Diana Pratt, one brother; Roger, and one sister; Geraldine, three grandchildren; Paisley, Andy, Carmen, and three great-grandchildren Sylas, Eden, and Noa.

Geneva was a well-respected educator and loved teaching all about our world and the beauty of nature.

Although she will be greatly missed, our family finds comfort that Geneva is now in Heaven at peace.

Our family invites friends to join us on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, for a visitation from Noon to 1:00 p.m. at Wickham Family Funeral Home 500 North Forest Ave, Chanute, KS, followed by a Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow service at Neosho County Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanute.
