E. Nicholas Lee Burr Sr. 41 of Edwards Missouri passed away on June 4th in his home, by the lake he loved and adored. 

Nick was born on March 15, 1983, in Independence, Kansas to David L. Burr and Vicki S. (McCulley) Burr. 

He lived off and on in Independence attending schools and in Parsons, Kansas. Later he attended welding school in Coffeyville, Kansas and Joplin Missouri. Which doing carpentry or welding fences is what he loved doing for work. 

Nick married Kathlee "Dawn" (Crouch) Burr on March 9, 2006; from that union he gained a stepson Alex Crouch. In 2009 they had twin sons Jacob Emmett and E. Nicholas Lee Jr. 

Nick was a foreman of J&J fencing out of Edwards, Missouri. He worked in several states like Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Texas. Working in construction and finally building fences of any kind. He loved to fish from the time he could walk good enough. He loved his boys more than anything in the world. He liked to go play pool and work on his home and spending time with family.

He was proceeded into death by his father David L. Burr, (Uncle) Gary Burr, (Grandparents) Cork & Jackie McCulley, (Grandfather) Leland Whitson, (Stepfather) Wayne Blaisdell, (Stepbrother) Lucas Vaughn.

Survivors include his wife Dawn, Sons Alex, Jacob, Nick Jr. of Edwards, Missouri. Vicki Burr-Blaisdell of Independence, Kansas. Sister Crystal Burr and (Fiancé) Randall Fields Jr., 3 nieces Jozie Stark, Ja'Zurie Richmond, Jaliyah (Gia) Richmond all of Memphis, Tennessee. Grandmother Diane Whitson of Independence, Kansas. Several Aunts and many cousins. His best friend Mr. Mike from the lake as well as his 2 dogs. Half-brother Jermy Grimes of Minnesota.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas, Friday May 26, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. for family and friends. To leave a special message, arrangements have been entrusted to Wickham Family Funeral Home of Cherryvale.
