Dale Noblett Carlson, 90, of Earlton–Chanute, KS, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on October 6, 2025, at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center.

Born on October 24, 1934, in Chanute, Kansas, to George and Czerna (Hill) Carlson, Dale's journey began with his education at Chanute Schools. Following that, Dale proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for four years, exemplifying the values of duty and loyalty.

He was united in marriage to Marjorie Abbott on December 21, 1957, in Erie, Kansas, and shared 67 years of love and life.

After being honorably discharged from the Military, he pursued further studies at a Vocational-Technical School in Pittsburg, Kansas. After completing his studies, He worked for Stanion Electric, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his craft.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Dale's vibrant personality was marked by his sense of humor; he was a jokester who loved to tease and laugh, traits that endeared him to many. His greatest joy, however, came from loving his family deeply and passionately. Dale had a profound appreciation for music, showcasing his talents by playing the harmonica and guitar. He also found great satisfaction in nurturing his garden, but his true passion lay in the connections he made with those around him. Dale was a member of the Thayer Christian Church.

Dale is survived by his beloved wife, Marjorie Carlson, of Earlton, Kansas, and their children: Kathy Kay (Charles) Rector of Baxter Springs, Kansas; Loretta Jean (Terry) Johnson of Erie, Kansas; and Mary Sue (Dean) Masters of Eureka, Kansas. He is also survived by his sister, Janice Jamriska, of California.

His legacy continues through his grandchildren, including Mary Jane West, James Carlson, Acey Welch Jr., Jason Carlson, Brandon Robb, Russell Dale Carlson, Devin Gilbert, Tiffany Johnson, and Jacob Johnson, as well as numerous great-grandchildren who will carry his memory forward.
