Cheryl Lynn Blackburn

Cheryl Lynn (Fultz) Blackburn, 76, of Coffeyville, Kansas, passed away on September 12, 2023, at Medical Lodges in Coffeyville, Kansas. She was born on December 18, 1946, in Mendota, Illinois, to Albert and Ruth Fultz. Cheryl was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.

Cheryl had a zest for life and enjoyed various hobbies and interests. She had a passion for baking, cooking, and playing cards. Cheryl also loved fishing, and collecting Coca-Cola items, and had an extensive frog collection. She enjoyed spending time at the casino and cherished moments with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Cheryl will be deeply missed by her children: Tim Fultz of Austin, TX, Cheri Seemann of Cherryvale, KS, Sally Benson of South Coffeyville, OK, and Lona Vidler of Cherryvale, KS. She is also survived by her siblings: Nancy Steffen of Dubuque, Iowa, Sandra Steele of Oglesby, Illinois, and Judy Kimsel of Ohio, Illinois.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her grandchildren: Amber Cunningham, Charles Cunningham III, Amber Groff, Trace Groff, Trenton Benson, Steven Benson, Cody Fultz, Noah Fultz, Damon and Dalton Dobbs, Waylon Vidler, Alexis Vidler, and Kyle Vidler. Additionally, Cheryl leaves behind her great-grandchildren: Arary Burgell, Ariah Burgell, Axton Burgell, Huxlee Burgell, Leah Claire Dobbs, Josiah Cunningham, Elijah Cunningham, Isabella Cunningham-Sharpe, Cassie Brown, Axel Brown, and Raven Brown.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lyle, her sisters; Connie Blackburn, Karen Higgins Fultz, and Susie Fultz, her brothers; Jimmy Fultz, Larry Fultz, and Lawrence Fultz, as well as her daughter, Cindy Groff.

Cremation has taken place under the guidance of Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas. The family invites relatives and friends to join them in celebrating Cheryl's life at a memorial service, which will be held at a later date.
