Carl William Christlieb, 58, of Thayer, KS, died April 23, 2026, at Ascension Via Christi St. Theresa Hospital, Wichita KS.
He was born on April 8, 1968, to Larry Dean Christlieb and Glenda Smedley in Orange County California.
Carl is survived by his daughter Elainna (Christlieb) House, two granddaughters Maddie Christlieb and Melody Wilson all from Pittsburg KS; his mother Glenda (LaVerne) Smedley, Thayer KS; siblings Denise Greenwood, Thayer, KS, Wayland (Angela) Smedley, Rolesville, NC, Shawna (Robbie) Robertson, Thayer KS, Amy (Eric) Moyer, Chanute, KS, and Jacob Smedley, Thayer, KS, as well as multiple nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Larry Dean Christlieb, sister Elania Lynne Threlkeld, grandparents Walter and Iva Simmons, Charles and Lorainne House.
A Celebration of Life will be May 3rd at 3:00 at Thayer Christian Church with Pastor Caleb Lyles officiating.
