Wyona "Scotty" Delyte Scott

Wyona Delyte "Scotty" Scott, 77, a resident of Olathe, Kansas and formerly of Buffalo, Kansas and Chanute, Kansas, died Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at the Olathe Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born July 30, 1929 in Buffalo, the daughter of Lloyd and Eula Doris (Eagle) Krepps. She was a graduate of Buffalo High School. She was a retired secretary, working various jobs in the Chanute and Kansas City area. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved to have them visit or call her on the phone. She was an avid K.U. Jayhawk Basketball fan and loved to listen to Max and Bob. Her Survivors include: One Son & Daughter-In-Law Gary Rex and Denise Scott of Olathe, KS One Daughter Vicki D. Franklin of Lee"s Summit, MO One Brother Dean Krepps of Olathe, KS Six Grandchildren Bryan Franklin, Kara Franklin, Jessica Scott, Kristen Franklin, Katelynn Scott and Drew Scott She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Frances Marie Hempen. Graveside services will be held at 10:00A.M. on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at the Buffalo Cemetery with Rev. Gene Benefiel of the Buxton Christian Church officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has designated memorial donations be made in her name with the American Cancer Society, 6700 Antioch, Merriam, KS 66204 or to The University of Kansas Williams Fund, c/o Gary Scott, 1641 Naismith Rd, Allen Fieldhouse, Lawrence, KS 66045-7538 or they may be sent to the funeral home.
