William K. Swank

William K. Swank, 67, a resident of Hutchinson, Kansas, died Sunday, January 29, 2006 at the Hospice House of Hutchinson. He was born May 2,1938 in Hutchinson, the son of Lloyd William and Marilla (Kranz) Swank. He was a graduate of Neodesha High School and was a machinist at Arrow Machine Shop for 23 years. He attended the First Assembly of God Church in Fredonia and enjoyed being outdoors and gardening. He is survived by one sister, Margie Ritz of Fredonia and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Archie Swank and John Swank; one sister, Marvene Wooten; and one nephew, Mark Swank. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 1, 2006, at Timmons Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Sherman of the First Assembly of God Church officiating. Burial will be in the Fredonia City Cemetery. Friends may call at Timmons Funeral Home on Wednesday, 9:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. A memorial has been established in his name with the American Diabetes Association and may be sent to the funeral home.
