Wilbert J. Spears

Wilbert J. Spears, 60, a resident of Fredonia and formerly of Nowata, Oklahoma, died Tuesday, December 20, 2005, at Beverly Health and Rehab in Fredonia. He was born June 12, 1945 in Nowata, the son of Wilbert and Essie Mae (Corbin) Spears. He served in the United States Army 9/1/1971-8/30/1974. During his military service, he became disabled. Mr. Spears has no immediate survivors. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, December 23, 2005, at the Fredonia City Cemetery with Mike Myers officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. A memorial has been established in his name with the Candlerock and may be sent to the funeral home.
