Wendle Gene George

Wendle Gene George, 60, a resident of rural Fall River, Kansas, formerly of Wichita, Kansas, died Friday, November 15, 2013 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. He was born August 26, 1953 in Wichita, the son of Carl Gene and Josephine LaFon (Cooper) George. Wendle was a self employed body fender mechanic. On March 27, 1980, Wendle was united in marriage to Cynthia R. Bird. She survives at their home. In addition to his wife, Wendle is also survived by: Eight children: Elizabeth George of Wichita, KS Carl George of Wichita, KS Josephine George of Wichita, KS Kevin Fairchild of Ft. Worth, TX Casey Love of Sublette, KS Sara George of Aspen, CO Emily George of Fredonia, KS Jake George of Ft. Worth, TX His mother: Josephine Zimmerman of Fall River, KS Thirteen grandchildren He was preceded in death by his father, Carl George.
