Terry L. Kukovich

November 4, 1950 — September 26, 2016

TERRY KUKOVICH Terry Lee Kukovich, 65, of Fredonia, Kansas, would like you to know his work here on earth is done. He received a call.well an offer, on Monday, September 26, 2016 that he just could not refuse and that he would not be returning home. This offer came with a huge assignment and a sign-on bonus.a reunion with family and friends he had not seen in many years. Job security was 110% and his new mission took him to a wonderful place where he is not going to have any more health issues keeping him from doing what he wants to do. He has left his wife, Sandy (Shue) Kukovich instructions to keep their family in check, as he has done for so many years. Terry was born November 4, 1950 in Scammon, Kansas, the son of William Kukovich and Betty (Groshong) Kukovich, and he was raised by his mother and stepfather, Betty and Frank Ostrosky. Throughout the years, you could find Terry working at several jobs, including Excelsior Brick Yard, City of Fredonia, and co-owner/operator of Total Automotive. Terry and his twin brother, Jerry, had many interests throughout his life. In younger years, you could find them at the lake with their speedboats, on a quarter-mile track with their racecars, or at the airport tinkering and flying their airplanes. He had a love and amazing knowledge of any and all firearms. Terry is survived by his wife, Sandy of Fredonia; son, Tracy and Carrie Kukovich of Fredonia; daughters, Monica Kukovich Morris of Fredonia and Mindy and Mike Ogle of McDonough, GA; brother, Jerry and Debbie Kukovich of Fredonia; mother-in-law, Betty Shue of Fredonia; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Ann Joy; and brother, Frank John Ostrosky. A celebration of Terrys life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, September 30, 2016 at the Fredonia City Cemetery with Mike Myers officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Wickham Family Funeral Home in Fredonia. A memorial has been established in Terrys name with the National Parkinson Foundation and donations can be left at the funeral home. Words of condolence for the family may be left at www.timmonsfuneralhome.com. You will be able to have your racecars, airplanes, boats, televisions and radios worked on at the garage on Heaven Street at his almighty Fathers home. This is Terry Kukovich on a two way radio and Ive checked out. Wickham Family Funeral Home, 510 N 7th Street, Fredonia, Kansas, 66736 is in charge of the arrangements.
