Terry Topham of Fulton, Illinois and part-time Fredonia, Kansas resident, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Wilson Medical Center in Neodesha, Kansas. Terry James Topham was born May 7, 1946 to James Darwin and Rena (Ubben) Topham in Newton, Kansas. He attended schools in Benedict, Altoona and Independence Community College. Terry served in the U.S. Navy 1965-1969. He married Janet Douglas May 1, 1965. Their children are Julie Racheal Bradley of Clinton, IA and James Brian (Patty) Topham of Fulton, IL. Terry is survived by his wife Janet; children, Julie and James; grandchildren, Ben (Jeannie) Topham of Fulton, IL, Katy (James) Moore, Albany, IL, Emily and Robert Bradley of Clinton, IA; great grandchildren, Alexis Topham of Fulton, IL and Josh Moore of Albany, IL; brother, Gary Topham of Joplin, MO. He was preceded in death by both of his parents and one sister. Terry enjoyed hunting and fishing and doing anything outside, and checking his cattle everyday while in Kansas. He retired from MetForm Company in Savanna, IL in 2001. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Timmons Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Benefiel of the Buxton Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Fredonia City Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral at 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. on Monday. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Terry"s name with the American Cancer Society and contributions may be sent to Timmons Funeral Home.
