Shawn R. Carlton, 52, of Fredonia, Kansas passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 in Fredonia.
Shawn Richard Carlton was born August 2, 1968 in Fredonia the son of Homer R. Carlton and Wanda L. (Martin) Carlton. He grew up in Fredonia and attended Fredonia schools.
Shawn enjoyed fishing, hunting, drinking beer and being with friends and family. He was a loyal member of the Rat Shop.
He worked for A-Lert, Puckett Farms and most recently was Truck Driver/Foreman for Dunn's Material Handling in Fredonia.
Survivors include his siblings, Brenda (Mike) Wooten of Fredonia, Ann (Vyron) Sierman of Fredonia, Kay (Chris) Caniglia of Fredonia, Wythe (Lily) Carlton of Hutchinson, Kansas, aunt, Marilyn Bogart of Pratt, Kansas, nephews and nieces, Jon and Debbie Wooten of Leawood, Kansas, Michaele and Michael Fienen of Pittsburg, Kansas, Tony Carlton of Hutchinson, Kansas, great niece and nephew, Maddux and Olive Wooten of Leawood, Kansas and a host of friends.
Per Shawn’s wishes cremation will take place and no services are planned.
