Scott Shue

Gary "Scott" Shue, 45, a resident of Fredonia, Kansas, died Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at Via Christi St. Francis Medical Center Inpatient Hospice in Wichita, Kansas. He was born March 31, 1962 in Wichita, the son of Gary Lee and Linda (Seay) Shue. He was a 1980 graduate of Fredonia High School and attended college classes that interested him. Scott worked as a mechanic with his dad for several years at Shue Oil Company and was then employed by Kansas Bank Note Company as a computer technician and operator. For the past several years he has been self-employed as a computer analyst, building and repairing computers and assisting his close friend, Kevin Pekrul at Midwest Computer Sales. Scott also assisted Kevin in establishing Twinmounds.com internet service. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Fredonia. He had a passion for his corvette and antique motorcycles, which he enjoyed riding. He also spent hours and hours reading hundreds of books. Scott"s survivors include: His parents: Gary and Linda Shue of Fredonia, KS Two sisters: Brenda K. Shue of Fredonia, KS Sherrill L. and husband, Robert Hawk of Aiken, SC Many aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of Scott"s life will be held at 10:30A.M. on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at the First Christian Church with Rev. Steve Brodbeck officiating. Private family burial will be held at the Fredonia City Cemetery. Memorials have been established in his name with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and the American Cancer Society and may be sent to the funeral home.
