Royce D. Chaffin

Royce D. Chaffin, 77, a resident of Sun City, Arizona, formerly of the Buffalo and Fredonia area, died Thursday, January 10, 2008 at the Hospice of the Valley Good Shepard in Sun City. He was born June 28, 1930 in Buffalo, the son of Beryl and Vada (Means) Chaffin. Mr. Chaffin served in the United States Air Force and the United States Army. He was retired from Toyota, where he was a parts manager for many years. On June 27, 1954, he married Betty Lou Chaffin. She preceded him in death February 8, 2007. His survivors include: Two Daughters: Lou Reyes of Monterey Park, CA Pamela Jean Grover of Phoenix, AZ Four Grandchildren and Two Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00A.M. on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the Buxton Christian Church with Rev. Gene Benefiel officiating. Burial will be in the Fredonia City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M.
