ROSE MARIE ELLIOTTRose M. Elliott, 91, of Cherryvale, KS passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 at the Montgomery Place in Independence, KS.Rose Marie Elliott was born October 16, 1923 in Petaluma, California the daughter of John Meeks and Margaret (Peterson) Meeks. She grew up in Petaluma and attended Petaluma schools.On March 15, 1946 in Carson City, Nevada she was united in marriage to Norman Elliott and he preceded her in death October 28, 2000.Rose was a homemaker and loved to cook and embroider. She will be remembered for being a loving wife and beloved mother. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge in Petaluma.Survivors include children, Elizabeth Elliott of Carmichael, California, Rosalie Timmerman and husband Jarold of Cherryvale, Kansas, Norman Elliott Jr. and wife Katie of Carthage, Missouri, grandchildren, Frankland Timmerman and wife Tina of Cherryvale, Kansas, Charline Colborn " Timmerman of Pittsburg, Kansas, great grandchildren, Kayla Timmerman and Jason Bitner of Neosho, Missouri, Kyle Timmerman and wife Chrystal of Junction City, Kansas and great great granddaughter, Frezhea Timmerman-Bitner of Neosho, Missouri.Graveside Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Fairview Cemetery in Cherryvale, Kansas with Pastor Eric Lang of the Cherryvale Christian Church, officiating.Friends may sign the register book from 10:00 A.M. until 1:30 P.M. with the family receiving friends from 12Noon until 1:30 P.M. Tuesday at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas.Memorial remembrances are suggested to the Cherryvale Food bank and they may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
