Robert DeWaine Hall, 57, a resident of Altoona, Kansas, died Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at the home of his close friends, Gerald and Sharon Christian. He was born September 19, 1949 in Moran, Kansas, the son of Leonard and Lois (Bates) Hall. He moved with his family and was raised in Darrington, Washington. He enlisted in the United States Army in July of 1968 and was honorable discharged in July of 1973, having served in the Vietnam War. He moved from Darrington to Kansas in 1970, where he resided until his death. Robert worked in construction throughout his entire life. Currently he was employed by A-Lert Construction where he had worked for several years. He was a member of the Verdigris Valley Christian Fellowship in Altoona. His survivors include: One daughter: Amanda Hall of Fredonia, Kansas One sister: Linda Hall of Everett, Washington One brother: Jerry Hall of Everett, Washington Many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, June 4, 2007 at the Verdigris Valley Christian Fellowship in Altoona with Pastor Jim Raymond officiating. Inurnment will take place in the Altoona Cemetery. A memorial has been established in his name with the Verdigris Valley Christian Fellowship Building Fund.
