Robert "Bob" Eugene Myers

Robert “Bob” Eugene Myers, 76, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Neodesha Nursing and Rehab in Neodesha, Kansas with family by his side.

Robert Eugene Myers was born November 14, 1946, in Leroy, Kansas to Theodore and Geraldine (Cunningham) Myers. As a child they moved to Western Kansas. Bob is the oldest of seven children.

In 1968 Bob married Francis Garcia and they had five children together. In the early 70’s they moved back to this area. They later divorced.

In 1994 Bob married Nancy Cook and had two children. Bob worked with several farmers and trucking companies and later retired from Emerson. He retired after a car accident in 1997.

Survivors include his brother and sisters, Alice Ummel (Bill) of Ransom, Kansas, Dorothy Box of Parsons, Kansas, Ernie Myers (Laura) of Parsons, Kansas, BJ Hilyard (Kenny) of Independence, Kansas, children, Billy Myers (Chelsea) of Cherryvale, Kansas, Tina Page (Cody) of Cherryvale, Kansas, Virginia Garcia of Dodge City, Kansas, Tammy Velazquez (Jose) of Hoxie, Kansas, JR Myers (Tina Foster) of Moreland, Kansas, Mary Myers of Dodge City, Kansas, Sophia Sanders (Ben) of Great Bend, Kansas, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by, wife, Nancy Myers, brothers, Terry Myers, and Ivan Myers.

Cremation has taken place with family services to be held at a later date. Services are under the guidance of Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas.
