Robert A. "Uncle Bob" Yeoman

Robert A. Yeoman, known to most as "Uncle Bob", a longtime resident of rural Fredonia, Kansas, died Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at Wilson County Hospital in Neodesha, Kansas. He was born April 21, 1923 in Kaw, Oklahoma, the son of Mark "Lee" and Gladys Marie (Krebs) Yeoman. He worked as a farmer and rancher all of his life. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fredonia. His survivors include: Two sisters: Christine Woodard of White, South Dakota Ramona Smith of Bucklin, Kansas 28 nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by three brothers, J Yeoman, Bill Yeoman, and Frank Yeoman; and two sisters, Florence Dorsey and Ruth LaPlante. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 21, 2007, at the Fredonia City Cemetery with Rev. Frank Dorsey of Kansas City officiating. A memorial has been established in his name with the First United Methodist Church and may be sent to the funeral home. Family condolences may be sent to www.timmonsfuneralhome.com.
