Pearl S. Williams

Pearl S. Williams, 81, a resident of Fredonia, Kansas, died Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at the Fredonia Regional Hospital. She was born June 21, 1925 in Warick County, Indiana, the daughter of Theodore and Anna Victoria (West) Wintenheimer. She was born and raised in Indiana. Later in life she moved to Grove, Oklahoma, where she resided until 1998, when she moved to Fredonia. In 2004 she moved to Coffeyville, Kansas and recently returned to Fredonia. She was a homemaker. She was married to Roy Preston Lanham. They were divorced. She later married Hubert Williams. He preceded her in death in 1975. Mrs. Williams attended church and read her bible every day. She enjoyed painting and drawing. Her Survivors include: One Daughter: Ann Riley of Fredonia, KS Two Sons: Johnnie Lee Williams of Jay, OK Alfred Roy Lanham of Missouri Seven Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents and two step-sons, David Lanham and Preston Lanham. Funeral services will be held at 1:00P.M. on Friday, November 17, 2006 at the Timmons Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Fredonia City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. A memorial has been established in her name with the Feed The Children Organization and may be sent to the funeral home.
