Oneta J. Boice

ONETA JUSTINE BOICE Oneta Justine Boice, 80, a longtime resident of Fredonia, Kansas, died Sunday, July 15, 2012, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. She was born January 11, 1932, in Rover, Missouri, the daughter of David and Cora (Davis) Boice. She was a homemaker. Several nieces, nephews, and close friends survive Oneta. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Naomi Beatrice Boice, Bess Tucker, Amy Ruth Peterson, and six brothers Alva Boice, Gilbert W. Boice, Ernest A. Boice, Elmer Boice, John Boice, and Jess Boice. Services will be held Thursday, July 19, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the Timmons Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Carl Thornton officiating. Burial will follow at the Gracelawn Cemetery in Howard, Kansas. Memorials have been established in Oneta"s name are suggested to either the Fredonia Avenue of Flags or the Fredonia Regional Health Care Foundation, and may be sent in care of Timmons Funeral Home.
