Norma L. Clark

Norma L. Clark, 85, a longtime resident of Fredonia, Kansas, died Friday, April 17, 2009 at Golden Living Center in Fredonia. She was born April October 8, 1923 in Neodesha, Kansas, the daughter of Clyde H. and Maude L. (Smith) Hayden. Norma was graduated from Fredonia High School in 1941. She worked for 24 years in the Law Office of Tom Hampson as a stenographer. On December 26, 1942 in Fredonia, she married Delaney "Dee" Clark. He preceded her in death June 8, 1995. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fredonia. Norma is survived by one sister, Mildred Humphrey of Fredonia, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Maude Hayden. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the Fredonia City Cemetery. Friends may call at Timmons Funeral Home on Monday, 2:00 P.M.-6:00 P.M. Memorials have been established in Norma"s name with the Alzheimer"s Foundation and the American Lung Association and donations may be sent to the funeral home.
