Mona R. Humphrey

Mona R. Humphrey, 84, of Cherryvale, Kansas, passed away, February 17, 2020 at Wilson Medical Center in Neodesha, Kansas.

Mona was born, December 11, 1936 at Red Cloud, Nebraska to Gail and Irene (Einsphar) Cady. She attended East High School in Wichita, Kansas and graduated in 1954.

On March 19, 1955, Mona was united in marriage to Charles D. Humphrey in Wichita, Kansas. He preceded in her death on February 25, 2019.

Mona was a homemaker who loved to cook, read and spend time with her grandchildren. She was a foster parent and ran a daycare. She also enjoyed visiting with friends, going out to eat and planting flowers.

Mona is survived by sons; Timothy Humphrey, Wichita, Kansas and Chris (Becky) Humphrey, Cherryvale, Kansas; grandchildren TJ Humphrey, Mark Humphrey, Cody Humphrey, Aaron Cook, Angie Cook and Alan Cook; great-grandchildren Silas, Kinsey, Jaxson, Jacobi, Adesyn, Ambriell, Hunter, Ashlynn, Brantyn and Baylen; and brother Dell Cady of Wichita, Kansas.

Mona was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, sons, Arthur Humphrey and Charles Humphrey Jr. and brother, Nolan Cady.

Cremation has taken place. There are no services planned at this time.
