Mabel Ann Brown

Mabel Ann Brown, 90, a resident of Douglass, Kansas and formerly of New Albany, Kansas, died Sunday, November 27, 2005 at Medicalodge of Douglass. She was born June 24, 1915 in Severy, Kansas, the daughter of Walter Addison and Alma Irene (Yarbrough) Condon. She was a homemaker. On July 8, 1931 in Fredonia, she married Charles Raymond "Jack" Brown. He preceded her in death May 1, 1983. Her survivors include: Two sons, Clarence Brown of Wichita, KS and Roy Brown of Wichita, KS; One daughter, Frances Mae Hutchins of Parsons, KS; One sister, Edna Mitchell of Augusta, KS; One brother, Ike Condon of Douglass, KS; 7 Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren; and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren Graveside services will be held at 1:00P.M. on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at the Weakley Cemetery near New Albany, Kansas with Rev. Gene Benefiel of the Buxton Christian Church officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 8:30 A.M. - 12:00 Noon. A memorial has been established in her name with the St. Jude Children"s Hospital and may be sent to the funeral home. Timmons Funeral Home, PO Box 168, Fredonia, KS 66736 is in charge of the arrangements.
