Lucille Pearl Brown

Lucille Pearl Brown, 92, a former resident of Fall River, Kansas, died Sunday, June 24, 2007 at the Golden Living Center in Fredonia. She was born July 23, 1914 in Augusta, Kansas, the daughter of Charles D. and Catherine E. (Warford) Weatherbee. She was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing and gardening. On April 6, 1944 in Eureka, Kansas, she married Robert O. Brown. He preceded her in death May 7, 1973. Her Survivors include: Four nieces: Jennie Rader of Piedmont, KS Mary Chambers of Carl Junction, MO Hazel Rhodes of Oswego, KS Virginia Van Buskirk of Severy, KS Four nephews: Ralph David Freisner of Severy, KS Harold Eugene Freisner of Severy, KS Jimmy Aikman of Madison, KS Donnie Freisner of Virgil, KS She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, Florence Weatherbee, Katherine Weatherbee, Mary Hull and Vivian Aikman; two step-sons, Keith Brown and Kenneth Brown; and one niece, Gail Ann Freisner. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Friday, June 29, 2007 at the Fredonia City Cemetery with Rev. Gene Benefiel of the Buxton Christian Church officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday morning, 10:00 A.M.-Noon. A memorial has been established in her name with the Golden Living Center in Fredonia and may be sent to the funeral home.
