Lillie Ann Honaker

Lillie Ann Honaker, 70, a resident of rural Fredonia, Kansas, died Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at her home. She was born November 29, 1935 in Fredonia, the daughter of Chester and Ruth V. (Rogers) Wells. She was a 1953 graduate of Fredonia High School. On December 1, 1957 in Fredonia, she married Clay Honaker Jr. He survives at their home. She and her husband owned and operated a big rig trucking business and a satellite system business in California for 40 years before retiring to Fredonia. Survivors, in addition to her husband, Clay, include her mother, Ruth V. Darlingof Salina, KS and one brother, Chuck Wells of Hayward, CA. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, May 12, 2006 at the Fredonia City Cemetery with Shirley Harkness officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, 2:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. with the family receiving friends 6:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. A memorial has been established in her name with the Fredonia Regional Health Care Foundation and may be sent to the funeral home.
