Leonard E. Keeling, 75, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at his home.

Leonard Eugene Keeling was born July 1, 1946, in Parsons, Kansas the son of Roy Keeling and Goldie (Wickham) Keeling. He served his country with the United States Army and was honorably discharged.

On March 9, 1979, in Miami, Oklahoma he was united in marriage to Patricia L. “Pat” Griffin, and she preceded him in death March 4, 2018.

Leonard worked as a crane operator for Haliburton. He also worked for Consolidated Oil and then for Safety Clean. He was a truck driver and retired after many years of employment.

He loved to camp, fish, and cook. He cherished his time spending with his family.

Survivors include his children, Jeff Griffin of Corpus Christi, Texas, Janna Goins and her husband Scott of Cherryvale, Kansas, Josh Keeling and his wife Jelinda of El Dorado, Kansas, Jill Colwell of Joplin, Missouri, grandchildren, Grant Goins and Kelsey Kendall of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Morgan Goins of Cherryvale, Kansas, Craig Colwell of College Station, Texas, Sarah and Bret Kelley of Independence, Kansas, great grandchildren, Maddux and Mayes Kelley and Gentry Trout.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Pat, siblings, Roy Lavern Keeling, Helen and Ivan Younger, Richard Keeling, Franny and Ivan Hannah, Sue and Rafael Castro, Shirley Keeling and Patricia Wright.

Cremation has taken place with services to be held at a later date under the guidance of Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas 67335.
