Lawrence Judson Clark, 92, longtime resident of rural Coyville, Kansas, died Sunday, August 5, 2007 at his home. He was born August 3, 1915 in Greenwood County, Kansas, the son of Charles Oliver and Nettie (Hedges) Clark. He was a lifelong rancher. On March 19, 1935 in Greenwood County, Kansas, he married Mildred F. Clark. She preceded him in death July 21, 2004. He was a member of the Woodson County Lodge #121 of Toronto, Kansas His survivors include: Three daughters: Joan Buttler of Wyandotte, OK Carole Haun of Fall River, KS Vicki Whitaker of Waterville, KS One son: Bill Clark of Kansas City, KS Two sisters: Velma Ronaldo of Florida Eva June Case of Ft. Worth, TX Friend: Ella Smith of Parsons, KS 16 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Clark and Phillip Clark; and one grandson, Willliam Clayton Jr.. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, August 11, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at the Clark Ranch near Coyville. A memorial has been established in his name with the Coyville Community Center and may be sent to the funeral home. Family condolences may be sent to www.timmonsfuneralhome.com.
