Lawrence A. Tull

Lawrence A. Tull, 96, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Monday, September 5, 2022, at his residence.


Lawrence Allen Tull was born May 30, 1926, at Conway Springs, Kansas the son of Emil Tull and Anna (Varenhorst) Tull.


On May 24, 1954, in Severy, Kansas he was united in marriage to Melba Irene Morton, and she preceded him in death October 3, 2012.


Along with his wife he was owner and operator of the L&M diner in Fredonia, Kansas from 1954 until 1960. They later moved the business to Cherryvale and operated for many years.


Lawrence enjoyed going to auctions, visiting with people, and driving around Cherryvale when he was able.


Survivors include his 3 sons, David A. Tull of Cherryvale, Kansas, Duane K. Tull of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, Ron D. Tull of Chanute, Kansas, 5 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.


Celebration of Lawrences Life will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th, Cherryvale, Kansas 67335.


Inurnment will follow at a later date at Severy Cemetery in Severy, Kansas.

Memorial remembrances are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association, and they may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
