Jimmy F. Argyle

Jimmy F. Argyle, 77, a resident of Fredonia, Kansas, formerly of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma, died Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Fredonia Regional Hospital. He was born March 30, 1936 in Coffeyville, Kansas, the son of Loren and Mildred (Elmore) Argyle. Jimmy was a self-employed barber for 20 years before retirement. More recently, he worked at the Senior Citizens Center in Fredonia. Jimmy was a member of the Catholic Church in Coffeyville. He enjoyed his time at Sunflower Club in Independence. Jimmy loved Fredonia and liked to wear hats and clothing that reflected his hometown. There are no immediate survivors. His parents, Loren and Mildred Argyle, preceded him in death. Cremation has been requested and inurnment will take place in the Union Cemetery in Coffeyville at a later date. Words of condolence may be left on this website.
