James G. Taylor

James G. Taylor, 57, of Neodesha, Kansas passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at his residence with family by his side.

James G. Taylor was born January 23, 1960 in Independence, Kansas the son of William Taylor and Norene Jo (Parkison) Taylor. He grew up in Fredonia, Kansas and attended Fredonia schools.

On February 27, 1982 in Fredonia, Kansas he was united in marriage to Brenda Jayne Adams and she survives at the home.

James received his GED from Independence Community College. He later attended Coffeyville Vocational Technical School (Coffeyville Community College) and received a certificate in Certified Industrial Electronics.

He worked for the City of Fredonia as a Class IV water plant operator for many years until ill health forced him to retire in 2004.

James enjoyed collecting coins, electronics and loved animals especially cats. He will be remembered as a quiet person who loved his family very much.

He was member of the Grace First Assembly of God Church in Fredonia.

Survivors include wife Brenda of the home, son, Alexander Taylor of the home, brothers, Rusty L. Taylor of New Strawn, Kansas and William J. Taylor of Rosalia, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Services will be held 10:30 A.M., Monday, April 10, 2017 at Grace First Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Ray Pile, officiating.

Inurnment will take place at a later date in Fredonia City Cemetery.

Memorial remembrances are suggested to Grace First Assembly Mercy House and they may be left or mailed to Wickham Family Funeral Home, 510 North 7th, Fredonia, Kansas 66736.
