Helen Marie Burt

Helen Marie Burt, 91, a resident at the Medicalodge of Coffeyville, died Sunday afternoon, February 28, 2010. She was born September 7, 1918 in Fredonia, Kansas, the daughter of John William and Elsie Jane (Prouty) Burt. She was a homemaker. Helen had one sister, Beatrice Endsley; and six brothers, Benny, Jim, Harold, Ralph, Barney and Norman Burt, who have all preceded her in death. She is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at the Coyville Cemetery with Rev. Gene Benefiel of the Buxton Christian Church officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday morning, 8:30 A.M.-9:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Helen's name with the Coyville Cemetery Association and may be sent to the funeral home. Words of condolence may be left on this website.
