Hayes Lewis Puckett

Hayes Lewis Puckett, 45, a lifelong resident of Fredonia, died Saturday, December 19, 2015 at his parent"s home in Fredonia. He was born November 23, 1970 in Fredonia, the son of Raymond and Judy (Seiwert) Puckett. Hayes was a 1989 graduate of Fredonia High School. He currently was employed by R. Puckett Farms. He had also worked as a counselor at Arrowhead Narconon for two years. Hayes was united in marriage to Angie Walton and to this union, one daughter, Alexis, was born. They were later divorced. He was later married to Natalie Odell with daughter, Quinci Ross, and to this union, one daughter, Hayven, was born. They were later divorced. He was a member of the Cornerstone Christian Church, singing and playing in the Praise and Worship Band. Hayes loved music and had been a member of several other bands throughout the years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the many African Safari hunts with his family. His survivors include: His parents: Raymond and Judy Puckett of Fredonia, KS Daughters: Alexis Puckett of Chanute, KS Hayven Puckett of Fredonia, KS Step-daughter: Quinci Ross of Fredonia, KS Siblings: DeAnna and Darin Vaughn of Fredonia, KS Blayne and Kailey Puckett of Fredonia, KS Marlena Puckett of Overland Park, KS Grandmother: Catherine Seiwert of Fredonia, KS Three nieces and one nephew He was preceded in death by grandparents, Lewis and Lena Puckett and Francis Seiwert. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Cornerstone Christian Church with Pastor Mike Hughes officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, 2:00-4:00 P.M. at Timmons Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Hayes Puckett Memorial Scholarship fund for his daughters" education, and donations can be left with the funeral home or at First National Bank in Fredonia.
