Everett Leroy Fink

Everett Leroy Fink, 92, a resident of Independence, Kansas, formerly of Fredonia, Kansas, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Regal Estates in Independence. He was born August 2, 1920 in Fredonia, the son of Everett D. and Eva M. (Black) Fink. Everett was a graduate of Fredonia High School and was an insurance agent for Metropolitan Life Insurance for 20 years. Everett was united in marriage to Helen Chapman and she preceded him in death. On February 14, 2003 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, he married Maxine Goodwin Warner. Maxine also preceded him in death. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fredonia and the Life Underwriter"s Association. His survivors include: One daughter: Beth Ann Osborn of Independence, KS Three grandchildren and one great grandchild. His son, David Fink and brother, Clyde Fink also preceded him in death. Cremation has taken place and a private inurnment will be in the Fredonia City Cemetery. A memorial has been established in Everett"s name with the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, and contributions can be sent to or left at the funeral home.
