DELORES DRISKEL "Delores Driskel, 84, of Cherryvale, Kansas passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Jane Phillips Medical " Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. " " Elizabeth Delores Driskel was born February 28, 1930 in Mound Valley, Kansas to Carl E. Waller " and Jewell Irene (Philpot) Waller. She grew up in Cherryvale, attended Cherryvale Schools, and graduated " from Coffeyville Business College in 1954. " " On December 31, 1955 in Cherryvale she was united in marriage to Clair Donald "Littie" Driskel. " She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers Leonard and Paul Waller. " " Survivors include one son, Dan Driskel and his wife Julie of Independence, KS, one daughter, Debra " Leedy and her husband Ray of Cherryvale, KS, one sister, Claudine Fogleman of Cherryvale, KS, four " grandchildren, Kristen Maxwell, Ally Driskel, Trey Leedy, Claire Driskel and numerous nieces and " " " She was a member of the New Hope Christian Church and Xi Delta Eta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi. " Delores retired from the Army Ammunition Plant in Parsons. " " Celebration of Life Funeral Services will be held 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at New Life Praise " and Worship Church, 308 North Liberty, Cherryvale, Kansas with David Cavaness and Gerald Zuck " officiating. The register book will be available to sign from 12 noon until 8:00 P.M. and the family " will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th " Cherryvale, Kansas.
