Earl Fort

Earl Fletcher Fort, 84, a resident of Bon Aqua, Tennessee, died Sunday, February 12, 2006, at the Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, Tennessee. He was born July 10, 1921 in Neodesha, Kansas, the son of Preston Joseph and Vera (Hall) Fort. He was a retired engineer. He was married to Margie Spaht. She preceded him in death April 7, 2003. His survivors include: One daughter, Tonya Wise of Bon Aqua, TN; One son, Roger Fort of Bon Aqua, TN; Eight Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 16, 2006, at Timmons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gene Benefiel of the Buxton Christian Church Officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant/Bellview Cemetery near Buxton. Friends may call at Timmons Funeral Home on Wednesday, 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. A memorial has been established in his name with the American Cancer Society and may be sent to the funeral home.
