Dennis James Doyle, Jr.

Dennis James Doyle Jr., 46, a resident of Coyville, Kansas, formerly of Lawrence, Kansas, died at his residence in Coyville. He was born August 25, 1961 in Devils Lake, North Dakota, the son of Dennis James and Karen Louise (Starling) Doyle. James was a mechanic by trade and had worked locally at City Automotive and at Matcor in Independence, Kansas. On October 5, 2007 in Fredonia, Kansas, he was joined in marriage to Teresa Jean Parnell. James was a member of the Eagles in Neodesha. Camping and canoeing were some of his favorite pasttimes. His survivors include: His wife Teresa Doyle of Coyville, Kansas One son Shawn Lansdowne of Parsons, Kansas One daughter Jamie Doyle of Muscotah, Kansas Five siblings Kathryn Doyle of Muscotah, Kansas Kevin Wheeler of Carthage, Missouri Ryan Wheeler of Virginia Beach, Virginia Tracy Mengel of Effingham, Kansas Patricia Shook of Caldwell, Kansas He was preceded in death by his parents. Private family services will be held. A memorial has been established in his memory to benefit his daughter's education.
