Clyde W. Barnhart

Clyde W. Barnhart, 83, of Altoona, Kansas passed away March 9, 2018 at Neodesha Care and Rehab Center in Neodesha, Kansas.

Clyde Warren Barnhart was born October 25, 1934 in Altoona, Kansas the son of Charles Austin Barnhart and Ruth (Briles) Barnhart. He attended Altoona schools.

He served with the United States Army from 1953 until being honorably discharged in 1956.

On May 2, 1963 in Miami, Oklahoma he married the love of his life Naomi Scott and she preceded him in death January 26, 2018.

Clyde lived in Altoona his entire life. He was self employed as a mechanic in small engine repair and he also was a farmer.

Survivors include his brother, Gerald Barnhart of Independence, Kansas, sisters, Mary Bowen of Colony, Kansas, Sandra Wall of Owasso, Oklahoma and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sisters, Betty Oler, Daisy Gulick, infant sister Merle L. Barnhart and brother, James Barnhart.

Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Wickham Family Funeral Home.

Inurnment will be held at a later date.
