Charles "Chuck" Ballard

August 22, 1972 — April 6, 2016

Charles William Ballard, age 43 years old, passed from this life on April 6, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Chuck was born on August 22, 1972 to Donald and Judy (Adams) Ballard in Fredonia, Kansas. Chuck married the love of his life, Andrea Borror, on April 19, 1997 in Fredonia, Kansas. Chuck was a diehard Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas City Royals fan. Faith, family, Royals, Chiefs, and Tulsack sum up Chuck"s life. He worked at Tulsack for 22 years. Chuck worked his way through the plant as a catcher, a machine operator, a supervisor, and was then promoted to Education and Development Coordinator. Chuck was a hardworking man, loving husband, caring son, mischievous brother, and devoted father. He touched the lives of everyone he met. Chuck will be dearly missed by his loving wife: Andrea (Borror) Ballard; children: Jordan, Hannah, and Charles Jr (CJ); parents: Don and Judy Ballard; twin brother Lee Ballard; younger brothers: Todd and Travis Ballard; 16 nieces and nephews; in-laws: John and Sandy Borror, Derek and Amanda Bryant, Shannon and Angie Owens, and Mohamed and Alicia Kamal; and his many brothers and sisters at Tulsack. Chuck was preceded in death by an infant brother: DJ Ballard; grandparents: Lee and Leitha Ballard, and Charles and Julia Adams; grandparents-in-law: Flossie Short, and Vernon and Willa Bella Borror. Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 11, 2016, at Bethany Church, 100 N. Olive (129th), Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. A celebration of Chuck"s life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at Bethany Church, 100 N. Olive (129th), Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at the Fredonia City Cemetery, S Cement Road, Fredonia, Kansas under the direction of Timmons Funeral Home, 501 North 7th, Fredonia, Kansas. The family asks that everyone who attends the celebrations of Chuck"s life wear Kansas City Chiefs red and/or Kansas City Royals blue. Chuck"s parting words of wisdom would be "it"s all gravy". On behalf of the family, we ask that everyone get their wellness exam. Memorial remembrances are suggested to the Chuck Ballard Children"s Education Trust Fund and they may be left or mailed to the funeral home.
