Bonnie J. Booe

Bonnie J. Booe, 81, of Cherryvale, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at St. John’s Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Bonnie June Booe was born to Lawrence “Doc” Garland and Erma Louise (Cottle) Garland on June 1, 1938, in Joplin Missouri.
She attended school at Oswego High School and graduated in 1956.
Bonnie was united in marriage to Kurt Allen Booe on May 6, 1956 in Miami, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death March 16, 2014.
Bonnie enjoyed going to auctions, garage sales, and flea markets. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and her love for the people in her life.
Bonnie is survived by her children: Laura (Randy) Vance of Pueblo, Colorado, Bill (Gina) Booe of Cherryvale, Kansas, Keith Booe of Oceanside, California, Daniel (Michelle) Booe of Mulvane, Kansas, Joe (Jenna) Booe of Manhattan, Kansas, brother Jerry (Carol Jean) Garland of Grand Island, Nebraska: grandchildren: Amanda Vance, Jillian (Kyle) Winters, Daniel (Stephanie)Vance, Jonathan (Teryn) Booe, Kenan (Taylor) Booe, Micah (Sarah Beth) Booe, Kimberly Ballew, Jesse Booe, Mary Beth Booe, Kyle Booe, Ethan Booe, Garrett Booe, Carter Booe, Lauren Booe, Emmett Booe, great-grandchildren: Reyce, Reygan, and Rylee Booe, Axel and Cora Ballew, Anna and Phoebe Booe and Baby Winters on the way.
Bonnie is preceded in death by parents Lawrence “Doc” and Erma Garland, husband, Kurt Booe, sister, Reva and brother, Larry.
A visitation will be held Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Wickham Family Funeral Home, 216 East 4th Street, Cherryvale, Kansas 67335. A celebration of life memorial service will be Friday, November 8, 2019 at 10:30 am at Wickham Family Funeral Home.
Memorial remembrances can be made out to the Cherryvale Food Bank and left with or mailed to Wickham Family Funeral Home.
